the spread me sour is the perfect combo of smooth creamy texture and bold flavours. the whiskey brings the kick, the lemon brings the zing and then there’s that irresistible, velvety foam on top. but the real secret that makes it hard to stop at one… is adding our DTM red into the mix. it adds depth to the flavour and colour, which makes this drink look just as good as it tastes.
plus, it makes you feel a bit fancy, and it’s ridiculously delicious.
what you’ll need:
- 30ml DTM red
- 60ml whiskey
- 15ml lemon juice
- 15ml sugar syrup
- 1 egg white
- cherries
how to make it:
- add ice into a short glass
- add all ingredients into a cocktail shaker
- shake shake shake
- pour over ice
- garnish with cherries
make it for your mates or keep it for yourself – either way you can’t go wrong. if you wanna make it vegan, just sub the egg for aquafaba (although this will never not be kinda weird).
